The proposal for the Helsinki cruise port enhanced the esplanades as public space, giving prominence to the market area through a transparent canopy, extending the existing park toward the sea, covering the cruise terminals like a green building, and creating a new museum as a sculptural piece.
The composition was completed by a horizontal laminar slab with an open ground floor accommodating recreational and commercial activities.
